Meet the Destination Italia assistant at Termini Station (around 8:00 am - OPTIONAL private transfer can be provided from hotels in Rome between 7:00 and 7:45 am) and board the high speed train to Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, our experienced assistant will meet you at the Naples train station and you will travel to Pompeii for a private tour of the archaeological site. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1,700 years. At the end of the visit, transfer to Sorrento, famous for its picturesque old city center and the characteristic fishing village of Marina Grande, one of its most authentic treasures. A local assistant will meet you at your hotel upon check-in and provide you with all the information about your Capri excursion and next transfer and activities. Overnight.
