Do not waste time here

Such a terrible hotel for this price. So tired looking and the facilities there are practically zero.. Smoking guests all around and all they could do was provide a fan because we could not open up the balcony because of the heavy smoking from the room beside us.

Beautiful Banyan Tree!

How beautiful Banyan Tree is! It sits on the side of the mountain Jinyun. Our room is very charming and calm with a hot-spring at the balcony! There is a amazing garden on the first floor. 悦榕庄静坐在重庆北培缙云山侧，美丽的环境、舒适的房间。每间房都自带温泉池。底层有个非常漂亮的花园，慢慢欣赏可能得耗两、三小时。我是重庆长大的，长期定居国外，有机会享受悦榕庄，是我这次回国过年的一大惊喜。准备9月间带朋友再住悦榕庄，顺便将金刀峡逛了。

Hot Spring weekend

Its a world class resort - Managed by Banyan Tree, a very new hotel. However, during the weekend we arrived the city was having natural gas issues. We were unable to enjoy the public bath areas. The rooms in the main building are still under construction, so you will be woken up by the contractors which starts at 9am. Hopefully they can finish all the construction so there won't be disturbance to the main building. The Villa areas are not completed either, but its further away from the main building, the sound is less disturbing. The staff are all very polite, and well trained. The hotel may need to have more amenities so that in-case the hot spring is not functioning, they can provide other activities for guests. Over all great experience with minor kinks that the polite staff have helped manage. Thank you, and will come again.
