Where Belarusians Fly: Europe in Summer, Asia and Islands for the Season

Summer is the season for vacations, new experiences, and long-awaited journeys. The TravelHub service analyzed bookings by Belarusian travelers and identified the most popular destinations in recent months.

In April and May, Belarusians actively purchased tickets for summer flights to Europe. Italy attracted the most interest, accounting for 55% of all European bookings. Spain came in second with 25%, while Greece rounded out the top three with 10%. Most flights depart from Vilnius, making travel convenient and accessible.

Beginning in June, interest grew in more distant destinations. East Asia became especially attractive for the fall and winter seasons: 33% of tourists chose China (Hainan Island), 27% opted for Thailand, and 14% selected Vietnam. These countries entice visitors with their mild climates, exotic cuisines, and diverse travel itineraries.

July saw steady demand for island destinations. The Maldives emerged as the leader among exotic countries, capturing 40% of the bookings. Indonesia (Bali Island) attracted 24% of travelers, Thailand’s islands accounted for 17%, and Seychelles for 9%. These destinations are especially popular among travelers planning a winter escape by the ocean.
