We have compiled a list of cities with the best business infrastructure in Eastern Europe. The main criteria are convenient logistics and a wide range of accommodation options. Choose your destination and start organizing your business trip on TravelHub.

Warsaw

Poland's capital is one of the closest destinations for business trips from Russia and Belarus. Chopin Warsaw Airport is located not far from the center – you can get there in just half an hour by taxi, bus, or train. The city features around 70 four- and five-star hotels offering everything needed for a business trip: business lounges, airport transfers, and wireless Internet. Nightly rates start at $140.

Like the rest of Poland, Warsaw is part of the EU and adheres to the Schengen visa regime. For business trips, you need to obtain a short-term Schengen visa type C, which allows you to stay in the country for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Polish visa centers operate in nine cities in Belarus – this country traditionally issues the highest number of entry permits to Belarusians.

Prague

Vaclav Havel Airport is located 17 kilometers from the city center – about a 25-minute drive by car. The fastest option is a private airport transfer. You can also take a taxi, an express bus, or rent a car. There are approximately 250 four- and five-star hotels available, with nightly rates starting at a minimum of $100. The Czech Republic is also part of the Schengen zone, so a short-term Schengen visa type C is required.

Budapest

From Ferenc Liszt International Airport, you can reach Budapest's business center in just half an hour by taxi. The city features around 120 four- and five-star hotels, with rates starting at a minimum of $100 per night. For a business trip, a Schengen type C visa is also required. A major advantage is that Hungary is among the top five EU countries granting the highest number of entry permits to Belarusians.

Vilnius

The international airport is situated just seven kilometers from the city center – about a 10-minute ride by taxi or train. Finding conference halls in Vilnius is easy – there are business centers with dedicated meeting spaces as well as hotels offering conference zones. You can book a room in one of 30 four- and five-star hotels for as little as $80 per night. A short-term Schengen visa type C is required. Note that in 2025, Lithuanian consulates almost no longer issue visas to Belarusian citizens.

Riga

Riga International Airport is located 13 kilometers from the city center. You can reach the business district in 20 minutes by taxi. Business travelers can choose from one of 30 four- and five-star hotels, ideal for a business trip, with nightly rates starting at a minimum of $70. In 2025, only a restricted category of Belarusian citizens will be able to obtain entry clearance.

Tallinn

The Tallinn International Airport is only four kilometers from the city center – about a 10-minute taxi ride. There are approximately 30 four- and five-star hotels available, with nightly rates starting at $90. Note that since 2024, the Estonian Embassy in Minsk no longer issues visas to Belarusian citizens.

Bucharest

International flights to Romania's capital are served by two airports, both located in the suburbs. One is 8 kilometers from Bucharest and the other 16 kilometers away. By taxi, the journey takes 40–60 minutes, while by train it takes about half an hour. The city offers roughly 120 four- and five-star hotels, with room rates starting at $90 per night. To enter Romania, a short-term Schengen visa type C is required, which can be obtained at the representative office in Minsk.

Zagreb

Zagreb International Airport is located 15 kilometers from the city center – about a 30-minute taxi ride or 40 minutes by shuttle. The selection of four- and five-star business hotels is modest – roughly 35 options, with nightly rates starting at $100. Belarusian citizens require a short-term Schengen visa type C, which can be obtained at the Embassy in Moscow through the visa center in Minsk.

Belgrade

Belgrade International Airport is located 18 kilometers from the city, so it takes about 40 minutes by express bus or half an hour by taxi to reach the center. Business travelers have around 90 four- and five-star hotels to choose from, with room rates starting at a minimum of $100 per night. A key advantage of Serbia is the lack of entry issues – it is on the list of visa-free countries for business trips for Belarusian citizens, allowing a stay of up to 30 days without additional permits. Choose online booking of a business hotel to organize your trip as quickly as possible.

Minsk

Business community representatives from the CIS and Eastern Europe should consider Minsk as an excellent destination for business trips. The city offers about 20 four- and five-star hotels, with nightly rates starting at approximately $90. Agreements on visa-free travel with some CIS countries – including Russia, Armenia, and Kazakhstan, among others – greatly simplify organizing corporate business trips.
