TravelHub Case Study: a Corporate Tour to India

When travel becomes an integral part of corporate culture, every new trip should be more than just a reward it should also be a source of inspiration, fresh ideas, and stronger team spirit. Our approach is to create unique itineraries that reflect each client’s individuality and leave unforgettable impressions.

In accordance with the terms of the non-disclosure agreement (NDA), some details have been changed or omitted. This case is intended to demonstrate our approach to achieving the set goals while strictly protecting our clients’ confidentiality.

Given:

  • Client: a media company
  • Number of people: 2
  • Destination: India

Client request:

As part of its tradition of recognizing top-performing employees each year, the company reached out to TravelHub with a request to organize a bespoke tour to India. The goal was to give the employee a unique opportunity to explore this mysterious country while gaining unforgettable impressions and valuable experience.

TravelHub solution:

We promptly developed an offer based on proven programs from our partner in India. The “Golden Triangle of India” itinerary was selected, covering the key historical and cultural highlights of Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra. This weeklong program was designed to immerse the traveler as deeply as possible in the country’s culture and history, offering a rich yet well-balanced introduction to India. Our team provided end-to-end support at every stage, ensuring peace of mind and comfort for our clients.

Result:

After returning, the traveler shared her impressions, noting how packed the program was and how precisely it fit within the planned timeframe. India made a strong impression on her with its vibrant character and unmistakable atmosphere.

In addition to the overall positive feedback, valuable practical tips were collected that may be helpful for future travelers, especially those visiting India for the first time.

  • Shopping planning: it’s recommended to do your main shopping on the first day of your stay, when you have free time. For getting around, you can use taxi services such as Uber, or arrange a car through the hotel front desk.
  • Departure requirements: for the return flight, you must have a printed ticket in English. Spices and seasonings are strictly prohibited in carry-on luggage.
  • Clothing: it’s important to follow the dress code, especially when visiting sacred places. Clothing should cover shoulders and knees. An exposed midriff is acceptable, but exposed shoulders and knees may attract unwanted attention.
  • Social norms: Indians, as a rule, are not inclined toward tactile displays of affection. Hugs and excessive displays of emotion, such as kissing, are not part of their culture.
  • Using hotel amenities: due to a packed travel schedule and additional excursions, guests may not have time to fully take advantage of all hotel amenities, such as the pool or yoga classes.

Among the general recommendations that confirm information from open sources but gain special value through personal experience, it’s worth noting the importance of bringing hand sanitizer and wet wipes due to local sanitation conditions. It’s also strongly recommended to have gastrointestinal medications on hand. These details may seem obvious, but in the context of real travel they become critical, helping you avoid unpleasant surprises and focus fully on immersing yourself in India’s unique experience.
