TOUR PROGRAM

1 DAY. KUALA LUMPUR. (No power)

Arrival at Kuala Lumpur airport, transfer to the hotel and free time

DAY 2. KUALA LUMPUR - MALACCA AND PUTRAJAYA. (Breakfast and Lunch)

Breakfast in the hotel. At 09:00 am departure for the excursion (1.5-2 hours on the way). The first capital of Malaysia is Malacca, its historical center. The heritage of the Portuguese and the British has been preserved here: a fort, a square with a red brick church built by the Dutch, decorative mills, and an embankment. Ruins of Fort Afamos, Church of St. Paul, Red Square, boat cruise on the Malacca River or rickshaw ride through the historical center, Baba Nyunya Museum, lunch at a Peranakan restaurant, Chinatown and Harmony Street.

The city of Putrajaya is the administrative center of Malaysia, intelligently combining modern architecture with traditional Islamic motifs, green parks with high-tech bridges. Here are located such attractions as the Palace of Justice (more like the Taj Mahal), the incredibly bright and strikingly beautiful Putra Mosque (popularly called the Pink Mosque), a steel mosque that has no analogues in the whole world, bridges, each of which repeats elements the most famous bridges in the world, and much more. Return to the hotel in Kuala Lumpur and free time                     

DAY 3. KUALA LUMPUR – SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF KL AND BATU CAVES. (Breakfast)

Breakfast and departure for a city tour of the main attractions of the industrial capital of Southeast Asia: King's Palace, Chinese Temple, National Mosque with a unique dome, Independence Square, batik factory, photo stop against the backdrop of the Petronas Twin Towers.

Next we will go to the famous caves in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur. Batu Caves is a natural landmark of Malaysia - one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside of India. There are two dozen caves in total. Against the backdrop of majestic mountains, the golden statue of the Hindu God Murugan, the eternal fighter for peace and justice, amazes the imagination. A special attraction on the way to the cave are the monkeys, whose feeding always causes a lot of delight among temple visitors. Visit to the Pewtor factory, where you can get acquainted with the features of tin processing and participate in this process. Around 14:30 – 15:30 return to the hotel and free time.

DAY 4 KUALA LUMPUR - ELEPHANT SANCTUARY - TAMAN NEGARA. (Breakfast lunch and dinner)

Breakfast in the hotel. At 09:00 departure to the Kuala Gandah elephant sanctuary (about 1.5 hours on the road). At the moment, there are only 1,200 elephants left on the Malay Peninsula and this center exists more to help elephants affected by human aggression and expansion, and not to entertain tourists, so here you can feed them. Next, travel to the Taman Negara Nature Reserve and a 5-minute ferry on traditional wooden boats to the other side of the river at Mutiara Taman Negara Resort. The complex is located directly on the territory of a nature reserve in the oldest tropical rain forest on planet Earth, which is more than 130 million years old.

Check-in at the hotel and lunch. After lunch, visit the indigenous people of Taman Nagar - the Batek tribe, who still live mainly by hunting and gathering. Their diet consists of fruits, tropical roots, fish and small animals such as monkeys and squirrels, which they hunt with blowpipes and darts. Dinner at the hotel, free time                     

DAY 5. TAMAN NEGARA NATURE RESERVE. (Breakfast lunch and dinner)

Breakfast and hike through the jungle to Teresek Hill. We'll climb up a 334-meter-high hill for panoramic views of Mount Tahan, the highest point in mainland Malaysia, and the magnificent rainforests that cover the hills of the reserve. Then we will walk along the 530-meter-long cableway, which is located at an altitude of 40 meters from the ground. Dinner. Boat trip to Berkoh River Cascades with a naturalist guide, Ikan Kelah Fish Sanctuary to feed the fish. At 17:00 return to the hotel.                     

DAY 6 TAMAN NEGARA - HIGHLANDS CAMEROON. (Breakfast and lunch or dinner)

Breakfast, transfer to the pier in Kuala Tahan and transfer to Cameron Highlands (depending on the traffic situation, the journey will take 3-4 hours). Cameron Valley tea plantations, visit to the Lavender Garden or Strawberry Farm. Lunch or dinner at the Lake House Hotel - the hotel is a listed building. Free time

 

DAY 7 HIGHLANDS CAMEROON - BUKIT MERA - PENANG. (Breakfast and lunch)

 

Breakfast at the hotel, departure for an excursion. Mystical moss forest, BOH tea plantations. After Bukit Merah, the only orangutan recovery center in Peninsular Malaysia. Orang Utan Island, where orangutans live in natural conditions. This unique island is both a sanctuary and a center for the study of this endangered mammal species on earth. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, travel to the island. Penang, check into a hotel in Georgetown and relax at the hotel.                     

8 DAY. PENANG - DEPARTURE. (Breakfast)

Breakfast and departure for a tour of Georgetown. A rich jam of historical, architectural and cultural attractions of George Town, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. An embankment overlooking the Strait of Malacca and the original buildings of the city hall of the 18th century, the original wooden Chinese settlement on the water of the Jetty Clan, the famous Penang clan house Khu Kongsi and Cannon Street, the oldest mosque in Penang, the legendary Little India district with its center, the Sri Mahamariamanna Temple, O. Penang, Kek Lok Si Temple, as a result of long construction, Chinese, Thai, Burmese elements and architectural techniques were combined in architecture, but still, by and large, it is considered Chinese. The highlight of the temple is the seven-level Rama VI Pagoda, inside of which there is a pagoda of 10,000 Buddhas, and a 36-meter statue of the Goddess of Mercy. Airport transfer.
