Tour program

Day 1 (Sun): Arrival in Tokyo.

Meeting by a Japanese driver at the airport and transfer to the hotel (check-in after 16:00, earlier check-in on request and for an additional fee). For an additional fee, an “Evening Tokyo” excursion on public transport is available (17:00-22:00)

Day 2 (Mon): Excursion "Tokyo: history and modernity".

09:00 Meeting with a Russian-speaking guide. The trip will be carried out by public transport, but in case of a large number of participants - by registered one. Visit Koishikawa Korakuen, one of the city's oldest landscape parks, built by the Mito clan during the Edo period. Here you will see a traditional Japanese garden, recreating famous landscapes in miniature. Next is a photo stop at the Nijubashi bridge near the park of the Imperial Palace, an architectural monument of the Meiji era.

12:30 Lunch at a local restaurant, then transfer to the historical district of Asakusa. Visit the Senso-ji Buddhist Temple and walk around the area where you can buy traditional souvenirs and Japanese delicacies.

15:00 Participation in a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, including demonstration tea preparation and the opportunity to try making matcha yourself. Then - transfer to Shibuya station, where you can take a photo at the monument to the dog Hachiko and stand at a busy intersection that has become the hallmark of the city. A visit to the observation deck of one of the skyscrapers, which offers stunning views of the capital of Japan.

18:00 Return to the hotel and free time.

Day 3 (Tue): Free day

Day 4 (Wed): Excursion “Ancient Kamakura” and relaxation on the sea coast.

Departure with things from the hotel. 09:30. Transport - customized. Visit the ancient city of Kamakura, known as the little Kyoto of eastern Japan. The city has retained its historical appearance with temples, gardens and cozy streets. See the second largest bronze statue of Amida Buddha, and enjoy the bamboo forest of Hokokuji Temple and the sacred spring at Zeniarai Benzaiten Temple.

~16:00 Check-in to a hotel on the sea coast, just a 2-minute walk from Yuigahama Beach and Kamakura Seaside Park. The hotel has a spa complex with a jacuzzi, a large onsen and a sauna. Nearby there are restaurants serving Japanese and European cuisine. Yuigahama Beach, located along Sagami Bay, has been popular with Tokyo residents for more than a century and a half. Open for swimming from July to August, at other times you can enjoy walks on the beach. Free time for rest and relaxation at sea.

Day 5 (Thurs): Excursion to Yokohama and transfer to Kyoto.

Check out from the hotel before 11:00. Transport - customized. Visit the port city of Yokohama, where you will see the traditional Sankeien Garden and take an elevator to a height of 296.3 meters in the second tallest building in Japan, Yokohama Landmark Tower, to enjoy the view of the seaside city.

15:18 Farewell to the train at Shin-Yokohama station. Transfer to Kyoto (2.5 hours). The guide issues train tickets in advance. In case of loss, re-tickets are purchased independently at your own expense.  

Independent check-in to a hotel in Kyoto. Free time.

Day 6 (Fri): Sightseeing tour of Kyoto.

09:00 Meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby. Transport - customized. Visiting the historical sights of the city, which has been the center of Japanese civilization for thousands of years. The program includes a walk through the ancient Gion district with its traditional machiya houses and souvenir streets of the Higashiyama district. Visit to Kiyomizu-dera Temple, the symbol of the city, standing on high wooden stilts.

13:30 Lunch (buffet). Then - a visit to the world famous Golden Pavilion - Kinkakuji with its magnificent reflection in the Mirror Lake pond. The tour concludes with the Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of bright red torii gates, depicted in the film Memoirs of a Geisha.

18:00 Return to the hotel.

Day 7-8 (Sat): Free days in Kyoto

Day 9 (Mon): Excursion to Himeji and transfer to Kinosaki Onsen.

09:30 Transfer to Himeji. Leaving your belongings in a storage room at Himeji Station (pay on site yourself). Transport is public.

11:00-12:00 Visit the magnificent Himeji Castle, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993 for its architectural beauty and uniqueness.

13:20 Seeing off for the train to Kinosaki Onsen.

Independent transfer (1.5 hours). It is recommended to take a bento lunch on the road. The guide provides train tickets in advance. In case of loss, tickets can be purchased independently.

Independent check-in at the hotel. Free time. Kinosaki is an old town with hot springs, offering cozy ryokans - hotels in traditional Japanese style. The main attraction is the seven baths, including foot baths with sparkling thermal water. Everyone is welcome, including those with tattoos. Enjoy a walk along the ancient streets along the Maruyama River, relax at the bathhouse, and sample local dishes at restaurants among the historic houses illuminated in the evening.

Day 10 (Tue): Excursion to Amanohashidate and Ine. Moving to Tokyo.

Check out from the hotel. 09:00 Meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby. Transfer to the coast of the Sea of Japan in Amanohashidate (~1 hour). Transport - customized. Ride the cable car to the famous sand spit in Miyazu Bay. The landscape with Japanese pine trees, sand, sea and endless sky is one of the top three landscapes in Japan. Free time for a walk along the spit and photography. *The total length of the spit is more than 3 km; it is planned to walk only part of the route!

12:30 Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, transfer to the fishing village of Ine, maritime Kyoto. Boat cruise along the bay along gangways and gangways. The village of Ine is famous for its original buildings that served as a home and boat station for fishermen. Directly on the ground floor near the water there is a gangway that allows you to drive a boat directly to your home. The uniqueness of the houses is best seen from the water, when the entire structure is revealed to the eye. Transfer to Kyoto by car (~2 hours).

19:01 Farewell to the train to Tokyo. Independent transfer (1.5 hours). The guide provides train tickets in advance. In case of loss of tickets, purchase again at your own expense . Self-check-in at a hotel in Tokyo.

Day 11 (Wed): End of the tour.

Check out from the hotel before 10:00. Meet with the driver in the hotel lobby for a group transfer to the airport. !

Note:

  • Group transfer reservations are guaranteed 15 days before arrival. Late bookings may require a private transfer at an additional cost of $80 per person one way.
  • Group transfers are available for flights departing and arriving between 8am and 8:30pm. For other flights, an additional charge for a private transfer may be required.
  • Changes to flight details after booking confirmation are subject to a rebooking fee of $30 per person.
  • If flight details are changed less than 15 days prior to arrival, a private transfer fee of $80 per person may be required.
  • If it is necessary to travel between airports in Tokyo (Haneda and Narita), payment for the transfer will be carried out at the expense of tourists
