airBaltic is the first European airline to launch Starlink on a flight!

And irBaltic, a Latvian airline, became the first in Europe to test Starlink on a flight. The test flight took place on March 28, 2024 on an Airbus A220-300 aircraft from Riga to Tallinn.

Starlink is a satellite communications system developed by SpaceX that provides high-speed Internet anywhere in the world.

During the test flight, airBaltic passengers were able to use high-speed Internet on board the aircraft, make video calls, play online games, watch movies and TV series, and work with email.
